HANDLING OF PERSONAL DATA

USAGE DATA / LOG FILES
When you visit our website, so-called usage data are stored temporarily as a log on our web server for statistical purposes, to improve the quality of our web pages.

This data set comprises:

•    The name of the file
•    The date and time of the request
•    The data volume transmitted
•    The access status
•    The description of the type of web browser used
•    The operating system
•    The IP address of the requesting computer (see above, anonymised in accordance with the aforementioned period)

PARTICIPATION IN LOTTERIES, COMPETITIONS OR SIMILAR ACTIVITIES
On our website we offer from time to time the possibility to take part in competitions or contests and similar actions. Personal data such as e-mail address, name, address and, if necessary, other data necessary for the campaign may be collected and processed in order to carry out these campaigns. All personal data provided in the context of such a promotion will be used exclusively for the processing of the promotion, e.g. for the determination, notification or sending of the prize. The data will be deleted after the action is completed.

USE OF COOKIES
When visiting our website, it may be that information is saved on your computer in the form of cookies, for example to be able to identify preferences of visitors and accordingly design the website optimally. This helps us e.g. to make navigation easier and achieve a high level of user friendliness.

GOOGLE ANALYTICS
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (hereafter “Google”). Google Analytics uses cookies, which are stored on your computer and allow analysis of your use of this website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is generally transmitted to a server of Google in the USA and saved there. We would like to point out that the code “gat._anonymizeIp();” has been added to Google Analytics on this website to guarantee anonymised collection of IP addresses (so-called IP masking). In the case of activation of IP anonymisation on our websites, your IP address is truncated in advance by Google within member states of the European Union or other contracting states of the agreement on the European Economic Area.
Only in exceptional cases is the complete IP address transmitted to a server of Google in the USA and truncated there. Google will use the said information to analyse your use of our website, to compile reports for us about the website activities and to provide us with further services associated with the website use and internet use. The IP address transmitted by your browser in the context of Google Analytics is not combined with other data by Google.
Transmission of these data to third parties by Google takes place only on the basis of statutory regulations or as part of order data processing. Under no circumstances will Google bring together your data with other data collected by Google.

FORM PAGES
On our website, there is also the option to contact us about various issues. Examples of this are forms for booking requests, call back requests, feedback, special customer requests etc.
Depending on the background to the contact, various data are requested on the form. Personal details such as form of address, forename, surname and e-mail address are generally compulsory to provide, for the purposes of contact and personal address. If you use a form for a call back or appointment request, data such as telephone number may be requested in addition. For travel enquiries or enquiries concerning existing processes, you additionally have the option to quote your booking or invoice number.

DATA PROCESSING TO FULFIL LEGAL OBLIGATIONS?
We process your data in order to be able to fulfil our legal obligations (e.g. from fiscal and commercial law). The data processing is performed on the basis of art. 6 par. 1 lit. c GDPR. The data are deleted after expiry of the required retention periods.

DATA PROCESSING TO PROTECT LEGITIMATE INTERESTS?
We process your data for our own marketing purposes (e.g. promotional approach, market analysis). The data processing is performed on the basis of art. 6 par. 1 lit. f GDPR. The data are deleted after expiry of the specified retention periods. You have the right to object to the data processing. You can find out more under the point below on “rights of the person concerned”.

DATA SECURITY
To protect your data from undesired access, we employ an encryption process on our sites. Your details are then transmitted from your computer to our server and vice versa over the internet by means of TLS 1.2 encryption. You can see this from the fact that the padlock symbol is closed on the status bar of your browser and the address line begins https://.

RIGHTS OF THE PERSON CONCERNED
People concerned have the right to information from the person responsible about the personal data concerning them and to correction of inaccurate data or to deletion if one of the reasons specified in art. 17 GDPR applies, e.g. if the data are no longer required for the purposes pursued. The right also exists to limit the processing if one of the conditions specified in art. 18 GDPR applies, and the right to data portability in cases of art. 20 GDPR. If data are collected on the basis of art. 6 par. 1 lit. e or lit. f, the person concerned has the right to object to processing at any time for reasons arising from the specific situation.
We will then no longer process the personal data unless compelling legitimate reasons for the data processing exist verifiably, which outweigh the interests, rights and freedoms of the person concerned or if the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.

RIGHT TO APPEAL TO A REGULATORY AUTHORITY
Every person concerned has the right to appeal to a regulatory authority if the person is of the opinion that the processing of the data concerning the same infringes data protection regulations. The right to appeal can be exercised specifically to a regulatory authority in the member state of the residence of the person concerned or the place of the suspected infringement.
